Locate Unsigned Iowa 972 in Henry County as follows:

Beginning on the north corporation line of the City of Mount Pleasant connecting with Broadway thence north following substantially the quarter section line to a point near the N ¼ Corner of Section 33‑T72N‑R6W; thence in a northeasterly direction through Section 28‑T72N‑R6W to a point approximately 1200 feet north of the S ¼ Corner NE ¼ of Section 28‑T72N‑R6W.

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa State Highway Commission approve the location of Unsigned Iowa 972 in Henry County, Iowa.

NOTE: The residual traffic (1258 VPD) on this section of Old US 218 does not allow reversion to the Henry County Secondary Road System in accord with Section 313.2 Code of Iowa as per Resolution date May 11, 1966.
